In order to capture a number to an SMS enabled database the number has to be entered and saved with a valid country code. By default there is no mechanism to do this in Acoustic and the custom expression options for validation are too restrictive.

Allow has/has not been sent Mailing ID as part of query builder
To improve the granularity of targeting, add under the query builder 'Email Behaviour' Section Has not/ Has been sent Mailing or Mailing ID option as well as the template selection.
